Closing Keynote - Panel Moderator
Day 2 - 2:30 PM
Ken Moreano is the co-founder, President, and CEO of Scott Data Center in Omaha, Nebraska, where he also leads Scott Managed Services and serves as Executive Director of the Scott Technology Center. Since joining the Scott Technology Center in 2002, he has spearheaded its transformation into a 250,000-square-foot hub for research, office space, and business incubation.
In 2005, Ken launched the development of the Scott Data Center, an 80,000-square-foot facility that achieved Uptime Institute Tier III certification after a major renovation in 2011, which included a 20-Megawatt central plant. Today, he is positioning Scott Data as a leader in powering artificial intelligence (AI) innovation, including a GPU as a Service initiative launched in 2024 to address the infrastructure gap for large-scale AI workloads.
An entrepreneur and investor at heart, Ken co-founded Aksarben Discovery Capital and has advised, operated, or invested in more than 40 startups. In 2025, he partnered with the Greater Omaha Chamber to help businesses embrace AI adoption—focusing on practical engagement and integration rather than just building more facilities.
